Jackson County Cattlemen’s Association FED Cattle Show and Sale

MARIANNA - Jackson County's young agricultural producers had their time in the spotlight Tuesday, February 17th at the JCCA Fed Cattle Show and Sale, hosted by the Jackson County Cattlemen's Association at the Jackson County Ag Center.

The annual event brought together community members, supporters, and industry participants to watch local youth exhibit and sell steers they had raised and prepared for competition and sale

The show served as a showcase for the months of hard work that Jackson County's young exhibitors had invested in their animals. From early morning feeding routines to hours spent on showmanship, the effort put in by participating youth was evident throughout the day's events.

Taking home the Grand Champion Steer title was Sara Alyce Chambliss of Malone FFA, while Brylan Harris of the Jackson County Jr. Cattlemen earned Reserve Champion Steer honors. It was a well-deserved moment in the spotlight for two of Jackson County's finest young producers.

The JCCA Fed Cattle Show and Sale continues to be a highlight of the year for Jackson County's agricultural community, offering young producers a chance to showcase their hard work and dedication while celebrating the future of agriculture in Jackson County
